The articles of faith of Loray Baptist Church shall be those contained within the New Testament and this body of believers subscribe only to the New Testament as the basis of faith and practice.

   This church is a free, independent, and completely autonomous body. It has the authority to determine for itself, under the terms of this constitution and by-laws adopted hereunder, free of any outside control, the use of its property and resources, what its policy shall be, and otherwise to determine its own course, role, and status.

   The church recognizes the value and mutual helpfulness in the voluntary association of churches; therefore, the church does declare its intentions, as far as conscience will allow, to work in mutual cooperation with other Baptist and Christian groups
